J. Byron Hurlburt was born in Belgian Congo
(now Congo RDC), where his parents were missionaries, as
were his grandparents. At the age of twelve, he prayed,
trusting in Jesus Christ as his Savior. From the age of
fourteen, he began doing evangelism, continuing to this day.
He started at Wheaton College in 1951, where he met his wife
Carol. They did missions work in Chicago up to 1967.
Starting in 1979 and up to the present time, they have been
involved in mission work in Africa. |
