Kathie Carlson has over twenty years of work and ministry experience in a range of roles that have given her a God-designed background and heart to come alongside missions and ministries. Her joy is to support ministries and individuals as they develop training approaches, design learning, and encourage and equip believers, church leaders, and those who minister around the world. Kathie’s experience includes ten years of cross-cultural work as an education specialist and manager (particularly in team leadership and human resources) in the Learning Technologies ministry of Mission Aviation Fellowship, curriculum development and facilitator training with Aphesis Group Ministries, and curriculum development for International School Project (a ministry of Cru). She also taught secondary English and journalism for eight years and worked as Director of Communications for an international corporation.
Kathie holds a BA in English from CSU San Bernardino and an MEd in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University. Her international ministry experience includes partnering with national and international ministries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East as an instructional designer and learning strategies facilitator to support church leaders in isolated contexts. She has worked with multi-cultural teams to develop transformational discipleship and leadership training and brings this background and passion, along with a heart to see God’s people thriving in their calling, to her service through Paraclete.
