Rich and Lisa Lamb have served the church in various capacities in the past 25 years, both as full time (domestic) missionaries with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) in New England and California, and as lay leaders in the various churches of which they have been a part. Lisa has taught preaching at Fuller Theological Seminary for the past five years and is an ordained Teaching Elder with the PC(USA). While Rich was National Field Director for the West Coast for IVCF, (2001-2006), he made several trips to Ukraine, Croatia, Latvia, Romania and elsewhere to train leaders in the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), the global movement of which IVCF is one branch. Rich has been in the business world for the last few years, but this has not kept him from his first love, teaching the Bible and training leaders internationally. He has taken time off to train church planters in inductive Bible study methods and teach leadership development and team building in many countries.
During July 2014 and then from September 2014 through August 2015, Rich and Lisa will be traveling in former Soviet republics (including Armenia, Ukraine and Russia), former Soviet bloc Eastern European countries (including Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria and Bosnia-Herzegovina), and other parts of Asia and the Middle East (Lebanon among others). Rich and Lisa will teach at staff retreats, student leadership retreats, national student conferences, often with multiple events in a country before moving on. They will visit a few countries more than once, investing more deeply in key staff and staff supervisors. And they will visit a few other ministries for teaching as well, including that of fellow Paraclete Associates Jerry and Marilyn Hogshead.
