Jim and Leta
Van Meter train
missionaries and new recruits for
many different agencies around the
world, helping them improve their
interpersonal skills and team
dynamics, a ministry they call
EAGLE. Jim also coordinates a
worldwide study on the causes and
cures for missionary attrition that
was started by the World Evangelical
Fellowship. Jim and Leta came to
Paraclete after serving 30 years
with OC International, first as
missionaries in Indonesia then in
the Philippines, before becoming
directors of the training and
personnel developments for OC
worldwide. Jim holds a Doctorate of
Ministry in Global Missions. Leta a
Masters in Human Resource
