Lewis Abbott, a graduate of Baylor and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, pastored Southern Baptist congregations for 35 years before working with mission organizations.  He served as COO for Ambassadors for Christ for 3 years, 4 years in development at Partners International and has served National Christian Foundation in developing ministry services for 6 years. The boards to which he has lent vision include the SBC Sunday School Board, the Billy Graham Training Center, The National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families, Ambassadors for Christ International, and Sisters in Service.  Married to Alice for 50 years, the couple has two children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
