Deborah Discipleship & Resource Services
DDRS develops biblically based teaching for courses, articles, workshops, and messages. It also consults with ministry leaders on topics key to Christian discipleship. Marriage, parenting, and facilitation skills are essential elements of the Christian Life necessary for multiplying disciples into the next generation. The ultimate goal is to help Christ’s people in many cultures grow in the following areas:
- to live with integrity, healing, and transparency in their closest relationships
- to have and inspire others to have an active relationship with the Living God
- to display the character of God through the fruit of the Spirit to those at home and in the world beyond
- to help others learn and grow in the application of the principles of Scripture to daily living
DDRS serves pastors and church leaders in several countries where believers often experience hardship and persecution.
As a writer, teacher, and networker, the founder of DDRS often thinks of herself as the “Forrest Gump” of missions. Like Forrest, she has had the privilege of meeting and sometimes working with some significant people. Many have names recognized for building the Kingdom of God in unique ways: Dr Ralph and Roberta Winter, Patrick Johnstone, Dr Luis and Doris Bush, Dr Bill and Vonette Bright, Drs Paul and Margaret Brand. The leaders DDRS serves today (especially those who live in the Open Doors top ten countries) however have great names that will only be showcased in eternity. Deborah Discipleship and Resource Services seeks to represent, resource, and serve the needs of these less famous leaders who are faithfully growing the kingdom of God in difficult places. DDRS also seeks to equip, inform, and network believers in the USA to understand and help those in culturally, geographically, or politically difficult situations.
