George & Heather Jemison

After five years of serving missionaries from around the globe in Thailand, our journey is shifting to England. In May 2024, George joins One Another Ministries International in Cannock, England

George’s decision to partner with One Another was a strategic move rooted in his passion for supporting global Christian workers, particularly marital couples. In 2022, he completed coursework to earn a certificate that qualifies him to not only provide therapy to couples but to also offer retreats. With its ample facilities and resources, One Another is equipped to support missionary couples across Northern Africa and Eastern Europe, providing free and counseling services.

The Need:

Since moving overseas in 2018, George served missionaries from almost 300 organizations across over 50 counties at Cornerstone Counseling Foundation (CCF). Through his clinical care, Christian workers received help for marriage and family crises, depression, anxiety, addictions, burnout, trauma, abuse, team conflicts, and other significant issues. But the need is still great!

Life on the mission field is lonely, challenging, and often traumatic. According to research, 94% of missionaries experience trauma while serving on the field.[1] For families serving in foreign contexts and cultures, culture shock is an everyday stressor that can cause friction behind closed doors. Over time and left untreated, problems within a family become the number one reason for missionary attrition.[2] George believes that by helping families and missionaries navigate challenges through clinical care, individuals and families can address trauma or underlying issues, experience healing, and continue serving in the mission field.

Our Mission:

This new opportunity in England allows George to extend his services to up to seven couples in each retreat, four times a year, significantly broadening his impact beyond his current caseload. By offering marital retreats, George aims to create a space where couples can concentrate on healing and growth

Heather will continue our connection to Thailand through remote volunteer consultation in grant writing, strategic thinking, and development with several foundations. Her skill set is desperately needed by grassroots organizations, and she is eager to continue serving organizations working to help the most vulnerable and in need in Thailand

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
