Jim & Leta Van Meter
Jim and Leta Van Meter come alongside the missions community, passionately encouraging and equipping them to tenaciously care well for their souls, believing that we are at our best discipling the nations when our souls are at rest from having been alone with Jesus, resulting in greater fruitfulness, retention and longevity of service. The Van Meter’s have had 17 years of field experience and 10 years in personnel. Jim holds a D. Min. in Global Ministries from Fuller Theological Seminary and is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary in missions. Leta holds an MA in Human Resource Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, a Certificate in Spiritual Formation and Direction from Denver Seminary and is a graduate of Vanguard University. They base their ministry on Matthew 11:28-30; 22:34-37; 28:18-20; John 15:5; and Ephesians 4:11 along with the research findings in the books Too Valuable to Lose; Worth Keeping (www.WCLBooks.com; www.wearesources.org) and the “Impact” survey (www.impactleader.org).
They are the parents of 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. For fun they like to hike in the mountains of Colorado and snorkel in tropical ocean waters.
