Keith and Rachel Keller
Keith and Rachel Keller have a passion to see ministry leaders in spiritually-forming communities that are engaging Scripture and one another with whole hearts. They work with the Deep Community Experience to walk alongside a community of believers as they awaken to their identities in Christ and move into loving each other the way Jesus calls us to love, sacrificially. DCE travels to different missional communities where this discipleship/journey process has been started or there is interest for the discipleship process to be started. The Kellers are based out of McDonough, Ga.
The Kellers have been in ministry work for about 30 years. Rachel discipled middle school and high school students and worked at the Liberty Godparent Home for young pregnant women in the early 1990s. They married after college in 1992. They then served in Kiev, Ukraine with United World Mission to train youth ministry leaders. From 1996 to 2006, they lived in Texas. Keith was the youth pastor of Tomball Bible Church and Rachel served on the praise and worship team and the high school discipleship team. Rachel also coached a Ukrainian girls’ singing group from 2004-2006. They then returned to United World Mission to help launch a 2-year long internship program to invest in the next generation of ministry leaders. From 2012 to 2020, they served in Prague, Czech Republic doing Discovery Bible studies, hosting events for English club and working with discipleship processes for women’s groups. They also worked to deepen and strengthen ministry leaders toward whole heartedness within community.
Their journey has been filled with ups and downs, and with brokenness and surrender, all of which has taken them deeper into their own stories and into grace-filled connection with others.
The Kellers have three sons: Elijah (Eli), 23, who is studying to be a pilot; Ezekiel (Zeke), 21, who is in the Air Force and is currently deployed; Luke, 18, who is looking into getting into the post production film and video industry either through a college degree or certificate program with an internship.
