Tido Huckfeldt
Tido Huckfeldt grew up in a Christian home and felt God preparing him for youth ministry. In 1978, he volunteered with Youth For Christ in Miami, Florida. He was part-time staff for them while in college at South Eastern University in 1981. The next year, after graduation, he became a full-time staff member ministering with Campus Life in Florida for ten years. In 1991, Youth for Christ sent him as a Military Youth Community missionary (aka Club Beyond) to Nuremberg, Germany. He worked at various military bases and then served as field director from 2003-2012. From 2012 to 2024, he was assigned to the Military Youth Community Ministry service center.
As a Paraclete associate based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he now pursues a God-given passion to be extra hands and feet to individual missionaries and their sending missions. He has contributed devotions to an American Bible Society publication for military teens called the “I Am” Bible.
He and his wife, Vanessa, have two adult sons and two grandchildren. In his off hours, Tido enjoys cooking, his grandkids, and traveling.
