Tim and Tona Bedford
My name is Tim Bedford and I am from Lake Dallas, Texas. I have been married for 13 years to my wife Tonantzi (Tona) and we have 3 kids together: Jack (11), Ben (9), and Jonathan (5). I grew up attending church with a believing family. I had a very good childhood as the youngest of 3 siblings. From Jr. High on, I attended a private Christian school and I graduated from there in 2003. Though I had accepted Christ into my heart when I was younger, it was during this time that I really deepened my identity in Christ and I began to seek him on my own. I attended the University of N. Texas (2003-2007) where I obtained a BA in International Studies with a minor in Spanish. Immediately after graduation, I went to Mexico to get married! I worked for 8 years with an organization called Serve international (2007-2015) both in Monterrey and in Queretaro, Mexico. After my time with Serve I transitioned to an organization called Latin American Ministry Partners (LAMP, 2015-2020), which was my organizational home for the last 5 years. Both organizations have supported us in our endeavors to build into the local church (in Mexico) and train leadership throughout Latin America. In 2019 I obtained a Masters Degree in Cross-Cultural Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. In April of 2020, I made a transition to Paraclete Missions Group which is my current sending organization. I presently live in Queretaro, Mexico which serves as the base of operation for ministry, both local and international. The goal of my ministry is to help plant and grow new churches, train strong, spirit-led leaders; and develop church ministries. I enjoy cycling, running, reading, movies, puzzles, board games, and spending time with the family.
