Curt Wolf
I am passionate about coming alongside kingdom leaders by providing care through pastoral counseling, coaching, and healing prayer. As these leaders are taking the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the world, I want to bring the liberating Gospel to the inner most parts of their hearts so they can maximize their contribution to the kingdom.
I spent my first 20 years with Cru being a Paul-like leader. I loved doing evangelism and discipleship while leading, launching, and developing ministries in the United States and former Soviet Union. The next 12 years I became a Barnabas… a “come alongsider” doing missionary care with the Navigators. With the Navs, I learned the processes surrounding where ministers struggle the most. Now I continue this care by helping church planters, pastor/lay leaders, secular professionals, and missionaries minister out of full and free hearts.
Sometimes this freeing kind of help can come in a more formal HR setting in a counseling interview for a new staff application for a ministry. During this developmental interview, I can give suggestions to head off future struggle. Other times, in healing prayer, freedom looks like the Lord bringing shalom to the root of bondage of things like people pleasing, performance orientation, porn addiction, and wounds from being in ministry or from the past. Other times, freedom can come from helping a person find their niche in ministry or through relationship help. If it helps, I am happy to share my failures and brokenness.
