Emely Wang

I was brought into the family of God at 18, when God showed me that His love for me is Emely-proof, and that there was nothing I could do to separate His love from me. A few years later, I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, I served as a special education paraprofessional and a fifth grade teacher before God called me into the ministry. I then moved to Florida to work with Wycliffe Associates where I was blessed to help with the development of SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation), a language that gives the deaf illiterate and deaf-blind populations access to God’s Word and can be learned in under a week. During this time, I have also become burdened with the toll that ministry burnout places on missionaries and their families due to my personal experience as well as those of friends and colleagues. This led me to accept an invitation to Texas to work with children of missionaries who have returned from the field in crisis. Whether it is with the deaf and blind, or a struggling missionary family, my mission is to bring the love and Word of God to those the world has forgotten so that every individual can experience the truth that I learned on the night of my salvation – that nothing “in all of creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:39.
