Greg and Michelle Fink
Teaming up with supporters, Greg and Michelle collaborate with national translators and translation consultants to produce quality mother-tongue Bibles so that God’s Word can transform lives and build His church.
Greg is an exegetical specialist, working with Wycliffe Seed Company in Bible translation. He checks Latin American indigenous translation projects for accuracy with the original languages of the Bible. He communicates his edits through a translation program called Paratext, which is real-time translation collaboration software. His work is one of the last steps of “quality control” before the portions of the Bible are printed. Their part in the Bible translation process is at the step where many translation projects are bottlenecking. Pray for more exegetes.
Michelle enjoys her ministry of “neighboring” through spreading the love of God to family, friends, and neighbors. She networks with many people to teach and encourage.
They both grew up in culturally diverse locations. Michelle grew up on a small island in the Bahamas, where her parents were serving in a Christian school. Greg grew up in a pastor’s family among the Cherokee Indians of Northeast Oklahoma. They have served in various cross-cultural contexts as singles and as a couple after we were married in 2003.
Their three precious kids are Emily (10), Celeste (7), and Josiah (5). As a family, they enjoy many indoor and outdoor activities, such as walking, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, reading, and doing family devotions – to name a few 😊!
