Miguel is from Venezuela and Becky grew up in Colombia as her family served in cross-cultural ministry there. Together with our four children, Micah, Gracia, Jojo and Kai, we have served in various roles in cross-cultural ministry in both Venezuela and Mexico since 2003. During the past few years, we have been increasingly drawn to begin using our ministry experience and gifting to train and equip Latin Americans to be involved in the Great Commission and Kingdom work. We have been so excited to observe a growing sending movement in Latin America, but have also seen a great need for experienced workers to help mobilize and train new workers. As Paraclete associates, we have a vision to come alongside to equip and support the Latin American sending movement through mobilization, training/coaching, pastoral care and resource development. Latin America has historically been on the receiving end of mission efforts, but is now poised to become a powerful sending and mission force! We see God at work and want to be part of strengthening and sustaining these efforts! Together with our team, we are excited to be developing a missionary training and mentoring program in Mexico where both church planting missionaries could begin their preparation and additionally where professionals (medical professionals, teachers, etc) could find a ministry path to incorporate into teams as support missionaries to help meet practical needs of unreached people groups.
