Tona (Tonantzi) and her husband, Tim, have been Associates with Paraclete Mission Group since 2020. She stepped into the staff role of Administrative Assistant to Paraclete’s CEO in 2023. The Bedfords worked as missionaries to Mexico since 2007. They served first in Monterrey, Mexico 2007-2008. In 2008, they relocated to Denton, Texas while raising support and receiving additional ministry training. Then in 2010 the moved their base to Queretaro, Mexico to conduct their national and international ministry of local church development, discipleship, worship, and church planting.

In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Tona works with worship teams, conducts interpretation for non-Spanish speakers, and home schools their three children. She enjoys writing songs, singing, crafts and rescuing dogs. She says, “If I find a stray dog, I’ll keep it. And my husband says my laugh in contagious.”
